Tim J. Eng
Creative Director
“Design is so simple, that is why it is so complicated.” — Paul Rand
Tim is not only a visual communications pro, he was also the restaurateur behind New Jersey’s popular Ginger and Spice. Although he loved that time in his life, Tim has no regrets: with more than 20 years of experience in strategic branding and design and a portfolio of world-class clients, it’s safe to say that design is his true calling.
Tim began his visual communications career with one of the world’s foremost experiential design firms, Edwin Schlossberg Inc. (ESI). While there, he created designs for ESI’s exhibit and retail clients. Most notably Tim worked on Sony’s first U.S. flagship store and interactive museum in NYC. He also worked with the American Museum of Natural History, SWATCH, Sharp, and Aveda.
In the last decade, Tim has help launch some of the most notable and well-respected global brands in the financial and professional services industry. While working with both internal and external teams from different cultures and countries, he has led creative and visual communications efforts for the American Stock Exchange, White & Case, DLA Piper, and Hogan Lovells. Marrying his finely-honed design skills with his entrepreneurial experience, Tim lead teams to achieve excellence.
