Carey Tedesco

UX/UI + Senior Visual Designer

“The goal of design is to raise the expectation of what design can be.” — Paula Scher

Carey’s mastery of visual language extends from traditional design principles to the latest trends in digital media, with a singular attention to detail and flair for creating memorable, visually resonant experiences. Carey is also a certified User Experience Designer with expertise in User Interface Design and Web Design.

A graduate of SUNY New Paltz, where she majored in Visual Arts, Carey began her career as a Visual Designer at Synapse Group in CT. Her work at Synapse led to a role at  Priceline.com during the company’s launch period, where she created icons, managed all print collateral, and designed the invitations for the company’s IPO on Wall Street.

When her son was diagnosed with autism as a toddler, Carey became an independent designer so she could spend more time at home with him and his younger sister. The learning curve that followed the diagnosis inspired Carey and her family to develop an app called iPrompts, which used simple, appealing pictures depicting daily routines to help special needs children transition between activities.

With her family now settled and flourishing, Carey fills her days bringing her design acumen to a wide array of projects in the legal, financial, retail, healthcare, business, tech, art education, and educational marketing sectors.

Known for her collaborative, open and optimistic spirit, Carey thrives in interdisciplinary environments, seamlessly integrating with cross-functional teams to achieve powerful and cohesive design solutions.
